I am a graduate student (finishing my MA) in the English Department at the University of Oregon. I am a film and media studies person, with most of my interests lying in genre and gender in film and television, as well as an increasing interest in social media and online media productions (YouTube, fan fiction, blogs, etc) and how those are by and represent different kinds of people.
This is my first blog, and at the moment I am not really separate my scholarly from my personal interests. Still thinking about what to do about that…
